Bringing together these two talents has enabled the artists to combine clay and steel into one-of-a-kind functional and decorative art pieces that delight the eye.
 

It all started in early 2003 when Deanne was creating bird baths. Having seen Barb’s work and being interested in mixing mediums she took one of her bird bath bowls to Barb and asked if she would be interested in designing a pedestal to hold it.

As the results of their collaboration found an interested public they decided to continue. A garden theme led them into planters and other planting containers. The ideas just keep flowing. The shape of one of Deanne’s pots will inspire Barb to create a stand or pedestal to hold it. At other times Barb will design a form that begs for Deanne to create a piece of pottery to go into or onto it.  They inspire each other and delight in the process and their results. They see no end to this unique and sought after collaboration.
